Till Kniola (DJ Zipo, aufabwegen] legt in der Sendung „Partikel“ auf KoelnCampus auf. Es
entsteht eine spezielle Drone-Sendung, den Spuren nachgehend, die Niblock mit seinen
immersiven Stücken gelegt hat, lange bevor es diese besondere Musikfarbe gab. Anders
als in Deutschland, ist Minimal Drone-Musik in den Clubszenen Portugals, Spaniens,
Griechenlands, Osteuropas, Asiens und Latein-Amerikas cool. Ein Hype mit langen
Tanznächten zu einer Musik ohne Rhythmus. Im Programm u. a. Francisco Lopez, Jim
Haynes, Hausswolff und Aube. In der Sendung „Partikel“ werden ausgewählte Klangbeispiele und Konzepte aktueller Experimentalmusik thematisiert und diskutiert.
Minimal Drone Music in never-ending club nights of dancing people…this all might sound a little confusing. Fair enough. It’s cool in Portugal, Spain, Greece, Eastern Europe, Asia and Latin-America. You wouldn’t believe it, while you can’t experience it in Germany. Niblock has influenced and impacted younger generations of composers and artists enough for presenting a Hype Night—two hours of a formidable lineup of drone and noise music.
